3.2 Booking forms

If you choose to send a booking request via the 'book a table', 'book a room' or 'book an event' forms, none of the data you provide will be stored by this website. The purpose of collecting this information is so that we can facilitate the booking request of your choice. The data will be assembled into an email and sent unencrypted directly to designated mailboxes. Once received, the email content is then downloaded securely (via Microsoft Exchange Server) to our local computers and devices or accessed via a secure (HTTPS) internet browser connection using Microsoft Exchange Outlook Web Access.

Typically we request only the information necessary to make a booking request such as your first name, last name, email address, phone number and dates/times. We will retain your information for as long as we need too in order to provide the service you have requested. In addition, your information will be retained on internal systems for a certain period of time in order to deliver a better service should you rebook with us. We are currently reviewing our internal data management policy and will update this Privacy Policy as soon as we have made a decision. Please do not attempt to submit personally identifiable or financial information via the booking forms other than what is explicitly requested. If such information is detected, it will be immediately deleted and your booking may not be acknowledged.

Once you submit information via the available forms, you hereby give your consent for us to use that information as described in these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with this you should refrain from submitting any information. You also give consent to use your information as expressed by agreeing to these terms and conditions via the opt-in banner presented when you first visit this website.

3.3 Newsletter subscription (MailChimp)

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter mailing list via the 'subscribe' button at the bottom of every page, your information is sent and stored securely to a third party data processor called 'MailChimp'. The MailChimp service allows us to manage our mailing list and periodically send subscribers marketing and information based newsletters. During the subscription process we request your email address, first name and last name so that we can identify you and personalise our email marketing for you. Your last name is not required to subscribe.

When you subscribe, you are explicitly asked to confirm that you accept the purpose for storing and using your information in the future. As such we will not abuse this right or use your information for any other purpose, unless you are alerted via email to a change in this policy.

4.0 THIS WEBSITE'S SERVER

This website retains a log of all access and request activity for the purposes of maintaining data and network security and stability.
These logs currently contain a record of your IP address and other potentially identifiable information based on the website that immediately preceded your visit to foxclublondon.com (otherwise known as referral links). The logs are retained for no more than 30 days on a rolling basis in an unencrypted (but publicly inaccessible) format.
